Any thoughts on how the recent statehood referendum affects the use of PR as a domestic “offshore” site?

The numbers are attractive. Any sense that this program is going to last as their last one was cancelled by the government?

I haven’t tried it with American Airlines miles, but it was a pretty seamless process with United to go to other star alliance members.

This is a list of one world member airlines:

The problem I have always had with American is that so much of their domestic network is serviced by American Eagle/Envoy which is consistently rated the worst airline in the country. As long as you are on mainline American things go fairly smoothly…but if you have to connect to Eagle or originate a trip on them, look out.

I dropped my membership this year after realizing that the overall value of content I received as a total access member over the past few years was lower than the value of content I received in the years prior to becoming one. I think has to do with the evolution of SMC from a research and information sharing resource to more of a VC type of operationI understanding how much of his time is taken up by that activity and shepherding the bank, but the data gathering and sharing aspect of the business suffered as a result.

I wish him well and thank him for opening many of our eyes to various realities and possibilities but don’t think we really an

“On a separate tangent, it’s amazing to watch these shows where people get on national television announcing they have a purchase budget in the millions. I can’t fathom why folks would want to broadcast their assets like that, but it’s interesting nonetheless.”

I’ve watched the show and wondered the same thing…

Some reviews…sounds like a mixed bag. In general, it is my belief that the minute you cross into the realm of ‘unallocated’ precious metals investing that you have eliminated many of the reasons to invest in the stuff in the first place. But then, I don’t ‘trade’ metals. I have never sold a single ounce of gold I bought.

That’s funny…but also illustrative of how government thinks and works: ignore your actual responsibilities, but grease the squeaky wheel.

Sovereign Man has made the decision to focus more efforts on its higher-end clientele. That is, focus on folks coming to the SMC events, and focus even more on the Total Access members

I think you are right. The missives have increasingly become less relevant to anyone who isn’t registered with the SEC and interested in pursuing his private investment projects. I let my Total Access membership lapse this year, it just wasn’t delivering the value for the dollar for my purposes as a result of the change in focus…it was just time to move on.

Enjoyed meeting you all in Cancun and hope to see you here.

I haven’t frequented this forum as frequently as I should.
