    Belizean news outlets are reporting that Maya Island Air, a local Belizean airline, will soon be offering flights from both New Orleans and Ft. Lauderdale to Belize International Airport. If successful, this could open up more routes to “the Jewel.” Currently, I’m aware of U.S. flights in Houston, Miami and Charlotte.
