Recommendations on a web browser?

Does anyone have a recommendation on a web browser to use that can give privacy but not take up too much memory? Some time ago I switched from Microsoft to Mozilla Firefox. But Firefox eats up so much standing memory that it really slows my computer down when it’s in use. Google Chrome takes much less memory and is faster….. but it’s Google, and I’m not completely comfortable with using it.

I use this one regularly. It is a new launch by the former CEO of Firefox.

Brave Browser

It’s very fast and blocks ads.
